My grandparents lived in Croft, I am trying to get any information on the family that I can. His name was Horace Smith, and the only thing I have is a prayer book given to him by the Reverend James Brooks in 1896 At the Croft Sunday School. thank you for any assistance you may be able to give me.
Sincerely
Debbie

My grandfather, George Bates (1881), lived in Croft - his parents were Joseph and Elizabeth. I understand that there is still some of the Bates family still living in the area. I would like to hear from any other 'Bates' still in Croft.

I am a decendent of the Crick family from Croft and a lot of them lived in the Heathcote Arms according to records. Have also visited the area and saw a number of group photos with the name Crick also added. One of the names I am interested in Samuel Crick, he was my Great, Great Grandfather. I hope someone reading this will be able to help.
